Screw the light bulb into the AC Adapter with Pull Chain (5). Then replace the
light bulb cover on the garage door opener, making sure the light bulb cover does
not touch the light bulb.
To attach the first Swivel Mount (1), peel off its protective paper backing and press
the Swivel Mount firmly against the top/forward side of the garage door light bulb
cover on the driver’s side (as far as possible from the garage door).
For a second vehicle, attach the second Swivel Mount (1) to the opposite top
corner of the light bulb cover (as far as possible from the garage door).
8.
9.
Plug the Cables (2) into the Power Pack’s (4) Connectors.
Plug the garage door opener into its electrical outlet. Then, pull the Chain on the
AC Adapter with Pull Chain (5) to the “ON” position to turn on the Light Bulb
Socket on the AC Adapter. The outlets on the adapter are powered whenever the
unit is attached to power.
10.
11.
Drive your vehicle(s) into the garage to the location(s) you will typically park each
time.
Activate the garage door opener, and the Laser Guided Parking System will emit
a bright, laser light beam. Adjust the Swivel Mount(s) so that the beams point to a
location on the dash or hood of the vehicle that you can easily see while driving.
NOTE: The Laser Guided Parking System will automatically shut off after about 3
minutes. If necessary, reactivate the garage door opener until you have finished
adjusting the laser light beams.
12.
13.
Sit in the driver’s seat to make sure you can easily see the laser light beam on the
dash or hood of the vehicle(s). If necessary, readjust the laser light beams.
This is now your point of reference for parking in the same location every time.
NOTE: If attaching the Swivel Mounts (1) to the ceiling of the garage, you may
need to install the Swivel Mounts farther forward to ensure the laser light beam
can be seen on the driver’s side dashboard when the vehicle is parked. To install
the Swivel Mounts on the ceiling, use the two Ceiling Mounting Screws (3) pro-
vided.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
2.
3.
4.
Open the garage door using the automatic garage door opener and drive in
slowly.
The laser light beam will move toward you across the vehicle’s hood as you drive
into the garage.
Stop and park when the laser light beam reaches the location on the vehicle you
previously selected (hood, dashboard, etc.).
The Laser Guided Parking System is automatically activated by your garage door
opener. The laser beam(s) will automatically deactivate when the garage door
opener light turns off (typically after about 3 minutes).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Garage door opener operates, but
Laser Guided Parking System does
not automatically activate.
Possible Solution
1. Make sure the Pull Chain on the AC
Adapter with Pull Chain is pulled to
its “ON” position.
2. Make sure the AC Adapter with Pull Chain
is firmly screwed into the garage door
opener light socket.
3. Make sure the Power Pack is firmly
connected to the AC Adapter with Pull
Chain.
4. Make sure the Cable of the Laser Guided
Parking System is properly connected to
the Swivel Mount and Power Pack.
When parking a vehicle, other than
the vehicle typically parked, the laser light
beam does not illuminate the previously
selected location (hood, dashboard, etc.) on
the vehicle.
1. The Swivel Mount must be re-adjusted,
depending on the specific type (make and
model) of the new vehicle being parked.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1.
2.
WARNING! Make sure the Laser Guided Parking System is unplugged
from its electrical outlet prior to performing any inspection, maintenance, or
cleaning of the machine.
Daily, inspect the general condition of the Laser Parking System. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts,
damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect the safe op-
eration of this product. If abnormal noise occurs, have the problem corrected
